Our Story

It started at our own kitchen table.

Amber Rice, founder of Ember Bots

I'm Amber — mom of two boys in two different middle schools here in Carrollton, which means two schools' worth of portals, apps, deadlines, and "wait, that was due today?"

When AI showed up in my kids' homework, I did what most parents do: worried about it, then got curious. We built a tutor around my son's actual assignments — lessons generated from the real work in his classes, talked through out loud, with me able to see what was covered and what was still missing each week. It worked. Not because the technology is magic, but because somebody sat down and set it up on purpose: the right tool for him, the rules agreed in advance, and a routine I could keep.

Then other moms started asking how we did it. That's Ember Bots. I don't sell software, and I'm not loyal to any company that makes it — I help your family pick from the best of what's out there, set it up the way I set up my own, and stay in your corner as it all changes.
